I have a family plan right now and 2 other people in my family wants new cell phones too. If I were to renew my contract (t-mobile) would I be able to choose a new phone (and have to pay extra)?. Or would I be stuck with the same phone for another year or two?

If you're willing to extend your contract you can get a new phone any time after your current contract is up and shouldn't have to pay extra at all. As long as you sign on for another year or two.

Yes, it's called an Upgrade, pretty much every customer gets one near the end of their contract. You can do it online, in a store, or over the phone. Sometimes they will even send you a letter in the mail if you're a preferred customer and offer you a better deal. If you switch to another company consider this: You will get less whenever minutes and have to pay more monthly, and you will have to pay their activation fee also, for each phone. Activation fees usually run about 35 bucks per phone

As long as you don't get SPRINT, 2 year contract is too long and to end it, it might be $200 to cancel. Look on the internet for cell phones, it is cheaper and you can choose a new phone. Keep the same #.

both twelve months settlement gained't renew... besides the undeniable fact that it is going to proceed your plan on a month to month foundation till you call or pass in and negotiate a clean settlement and replace your telephone... i hate at&t also.. I easily have verizon and its been pretty solid... yet t-cellular feels like a cool service, thats what my sister has and loves it.
