In an apartment dwelling the whole place would actually have to be done to get rid of them. But, you can block any and all openings between your apartments with steel wool and then Spackle. Check especially around all the pipes coming into your apartment and outlet boxes.
Then make sure you are scrupulously clean with food. Do not leave even one crumb sitting out anywhere. Everything goes into air tight containers. Bag your garbage immediately. If you can't take it out right away stick it in the refrigerator until you can if you have enough room.
You can use commercial roach poisons, call an exterminator, or make your own bait that will cause the roaches to explode when they go back to their nest.
1 teaspoon boric acid
2 1\2 ounces of corn syrup
2 1\2 ounces of water
Boil the syrup until it starts to brown. Be careful as it will stick to your skin if you get it on you. Remove it from the heat and stir in the boric acid until it's dissolved. Mix in the water.
Put the syrup in plastic covers from margarine or other disposable container covers and put them where you've seen the roaches. In a few days that should be the end of them
Good luck.

Buy flea strength aerosol bombs, turn off all pilot lights in the house, place one in each room not just the bathroom and kitchen (becuase roaches will just move to another room and wait for the fog to leave), then leave for 8 hours. Then buy "roach bait" Advent makes the best but may not be available to the public (i've watched roaches eat it off the end of the tube). Seeing that you live in an apartment, the whole complex needs to be treated all at once. Your landlord should have a quarterly if not monthly account with an exterminator. Since they own the building they're responsible for that sort of thing. If they tell you to clean your apartment, that's BS so press the issue.

you may not quite do away with it. yet i might start up with finding a clean interest. and supply up writing lots on the computer. Do actual events with your pals. Set a purpose for your self to basically stay on the computer for 2 hours then decrease down each and each month. it would desire to keep you a pair of money on the electrical powered bill!!! ;). extremely discover something else to do, in case you may not verify out what video clips are drawing near, what events that sound kinda cool. Be obtainable extremely of interior right here.

I have been told you can use boric acid, but we have been buying this Ortho home defense at Home Depot ( I am sure there are other places that carry it), and we live here in the south, but you spray once a month, and it keeps them away. I mean it really does work

Raid doesn't do much, you can buy boric acid, sprinkle it all over the floor/wall boarders, theis should kill them long-term. Also, there are many home treamtnets available where you leave a can in the room for a day and it kills them all. Look for them in any store.

Try the Raid Bombs. But just remember, if you live in an appartment building, your neighbors might have them so they could come back.
