Miss Ruby, Yes I have been to Disney land. It was 1962 andd my Mother, Grandmother, aunt and 4 cousins plus a family friend all took a cross country trip to California from Virginia. we were going to visit my grandmothers brother who lived out in Pasadena. I remember old rout 66 and all that stuff. Its all still there on rout 40 west too. Anyway we went to disney land and I had a blast. I rode in the submarine they had there and the water slide and all the other things. I was really doing good until I got seperated from everyone. I didn't know where they went so I decided to 1- not panic. 2-stand in a door way near the area where we were last togeather. This way I could see everyone and every thing going on and not be in the middle of the crowd. Sure enough my cousin Kieth came walking back in the area looking for me. I made a bee line to him and I was safe then. Disney world? whats that? There is Disney land and thats what cooks.
Have a good day, Ammo

Land? Yes. World? No. I went to Disneyland during spring break, of the year 2006, with my mother and sister, we stayed in a hotel that was in walking distance of Disneyland, but we had to drive there since taking a plane was so expensive. My mom and I were going to go on Splash Mountain, but it broke. But Disneyland was still fun.

YES. LOVED IT.
would go every week if i lived anywhere near it.
Wish i could buy the Disney mint juleps at the grocery store.

I first saw pictures ( films) of Disneyland on the old Wonderful World of Disney TV show. As it happened, when i finally got to Disneyland, in CA., someone from Disney was doing a survey just inside the gate, and one of the questions was "Why did you come to Disneyland today?"

I was shocked, and said " because i have been waiting my whole life to come here!"

Of course. Disneyland is my favorite place on Earth. Disney World is great too. There is just more attention to detail, and more history at Disneyland. If you are impressed by something large then Disney World is the way to go, but I see the huge Rockies everyday for free (and they are beautiful and perfect I might as well add). Anyway, all Disney parks are great... just go to one of them.

Yes. In fact, my parents took me there on press day, before it opened to the general public (51 years ago.) Unfortunately, I don't remember the details. But I've been back many time since then and enjoy it.

It is the Happiest Place on Earth. ( Don't let 'em tell you otherwise. ;-) )

If you're not happy at Disneyland, you'll never be happy. Such a sad way to live life......

Yes. I grew up just a couple of miles from Disneyland. Iwas even in several parades there. I still have season passes. If you haven't ever been, you are missing out !!

Yes I went two years ago. It was fun. The only bad thing is it was my little girl's first Disney experience and Cinderella's castle was covered with a tarp! We went with another couple, but I must confess we had more fun at Universal Studios. Last summer we went to Disney World and that is much bigger.
