How do you save a computer game to your harddrive?

I want to save Roller Coaster Tycoon to my harddrive so I don't have to keep using the CD.

You will need a file called a "crack". This file basically tricks your PC into believing that the CD has been placed in the drive. Naturally, this is what people who dont legally own games use most of the time, so the legality is up to debate.

However, cracks for games that you own (wink, wink) can be downloaded from gamecopyworld.com.

Once you download the crack, replace the .exe file on your PC with the crack, and the game should never ask you for a cd.

Or you could make an image of the CD (if you have it) and mount that image whenever you want to play.

1. You could make a cd image with a program(like alchohol 120%) and then mount the image useing something like Deamon Tools.
2.You could get a no cd patch....just serch for it. But with roller coaster tycoon its not as easy as most...you need to get data files off the cd...most of the patches come with instructions for which files you need off the disk.

run roxio save it as a .cue file and load it with roxio cd emulator
