This is because of the Yates case. I feel that if someone murders someone no matter what their mental state. They should be sent to prison.

I agree with oohbrother; I mean the person is not right in the head and killing her will not bring those kids back. Sending her to jail because she was insane will not help her at all she will just go nuts again and kill some one while she is in prison, and not get the mental help she needs. Lets not reinstate the old double standard about the insanity defense please.

I agree. We saw how Lorena Bobbit spent a few months in the hospital after committing mayhem. I don't trust that kind of system.
