Will he? I doubt it.
Should he? Absolutely. My dog could have managed that team to a championship last year with the way they pitched.
And this year, with the same pitching staff and a better all-around team, they're sitting 8+ games out of first. It's unexcusable, especially with what a public relations nightmare their ignorant jack@ss of a manager has turned into.

The possibilty is very good that he will be fired if he is unsuccessful this season. I am not sure failing to win the World Series will do it, but if the White Sox fail to make the playoffs he will be a goner.
Remember: Jerry reinsdorf is the majority owner of the White Sox, as well as, the Chicago Bulls. He did not hesitate to tell Michael Jordan, Phil Jackson and Scottie Pippin to take a hike after a successful run of two, threepeat championships. He will not hesitate to unload a foul-mouthed, over-acheiving coach that had little to do with the sucess of his 2005 team, other than divert media attion from the players.

WILL he? it's always a possibility. SHOULD he? No. he's a top 5 manager right now. The Sox are in a bit of a slump but they did that last year near the end also and they ended up winning the WS.
he's doing a great job...as long as he keeps his mouth shut!

I think he will be given a chance to win it all again next year. The White Sox are all done now. They even lost today and have fallen 9.5 games behind Detroit. Last year they were a good club which played over its head. This year their lack of talent has caught up with them, especially in the pitching department.
Chow!!

I hope so... he's one of the worst managers I've ever seen... all he does is tell his pitchers to hit the other team's batters and he's a big crybaby... It would hurt me at all to see him GO!!
