I've kind of answered this already in another of your questions. To add more about the snakes though. In real life snakes are one of the many ways that nature helps to keep down the rodent population. Do you feel that you have a lot of "rats" in your life? The snakes may be there to help you rid yourself of them.
Again, snakes represent renewal and rebirth. You must be going through a very rough period in your life right now. Take a lesson from the snakes and rid yourself of all the unwanted/unneeded things in your life that are strangling you.

Let me analyze the dream
backyard = bbq place, your back door of your home, your escape route
snakes = bad things, bad influences
It may mean that you are trying to find excuses in life and unconsciously you just can't. Those snakes may symbolize somethnig you afraid to do and you projected those bad things in your dream to tell you that you cannot escape from any direction.
I could be wrong, but that is how I see from your dream

Snakes are a link between the regular aboveground world and the underground. So, maybe you have lots of unresolved issues brewing in your subconscious, or you are thinking of transformation. Or you just like snakes and think they're cool.
