Sometimes they will be seen at the post office, but often the picture will be found on milk cartons or in fold-out posters inside playboy or hustler. Pamela Anderson was a poster child. I think Paris Hilton was a poster child for some "trip to paris" or "spend a night in paris" movie advertising the city. Some people see being a poster child as appealing, while others find it degrading.

no... a poster child is a person who represents an idea or product. their name is usually synonomous with the product. such as george foreman and small, in-home grills
