um...I think your husband would divorce you after that!
actually, i know a woman or two who feels no pain during cild birth. also, did you know some women break their husbands hands while in labor.
Have you ever heard of sympathetic pregnancy? Some men already feel quite alot of the ordeal.
i guess it's too bad though, men will never know what it's like to carry life for months then bring it into the world, or ever really feel the way a woman feels, the way a woman thinks. yeah...

That is certainly one way to share the process.
Bill Cosby used to share this story about how his wife described the pain of child birth.
She told him, "Take your lower lip and hold it in the fingertips of both hands. Pull the lip down and then up ... OVER the top of your head. THEN you might have some idea of what childbirth is like."

That sounds great! I bet that the pain in their testicles still wouldn't even compare to the pain that a woman goes through while giving birth.

Believe it or not your husband does feel your pain. Do you think it is easy on them seeing their wife in so much pain and not being able to do anything about it besides tell them "Here comes a big one" (contraction)? Does it really matter if they do anyways? There is a bundle of joy coming to the world to love and hug and be loved by so worry about that!
When my pain got real bad I told my husband to get a nurse. He pushed the button and then held my hand.....Seconds later he was trying to get in the bathroom and couldn't and was really faint and wobbly. I didn't feel a thing after that but he was really sick and could barely stand without falling over. We swear he took everything I was feeling to this day. He will always remember how sick he was.

It seems to be a good idea--have all your children -go to the sperm bank-Only with my first husband when he was not even there with my first child!! MEN should do their part at least show some tenderness and consideration!! I do still hope there are some nice guys out there somewhere----Maybe all us women should become Gay and let them go and ---------!!!!! I am straight!!!! But I am considering Dr. Ruth's V-------if I can find one!!! I have to do everything myself anyway!!! MEN bring all kinds of pain--maybe we need more from Mexico and INDIA!!!!!

Well, unless he raped you and got you pregnant against your consent, I see absolutely no reason to take it out on your partner!
I went thru completely natural childbirth - not by choice - and never once wished anything horrible on my husband. Of course, there are a plethora of pain alleviating methods out there, so there is usually no reason to have to go through exceptional discomfort while laboring.

shhhh... i think we have a closer bond with the child because of the 9 months we had to love the child that we felt EVERY twinge of 24/7. we have a more intimate relationship with the baby before it's even born...
can you imagine if this was the way the world worked:

i gladly will carry the child enjoying everything simple pleasure it has to offer even if it means a bit of physical pain.

Haha! That's funny. Although I don't reccommend it (the men will get mad), i wish men would feel pains too! It's not fair, women have to go through everything. Periods, period symptoms, hormones, pregnancy, and much much. men need a hard job too.

read your bible, and God said that since man/woman disobeyed him in the garden, he greatly increase the pain in child bearing and the man will have to work hard to provide, and since the snake tempted eve, it will crawl on its belly forever, so in a since the man is sharing the pain by working to provide for you and the child.

Sure... "Honey come here, I need your support during this contraction. No I don't need your hand, I'd rather squeeze your balls so you can feel it too." Somehow I'm not seeing a man put through that ever wanting another child!
