For some reason I have an urge to buy some songs from the 50s. I like the sound, but never really listened to 50s music before. I'm only 26, so oldies for me is 80s music. Can you guys name some great tunes from yesteryear? Thanks.

Hmmmmmmm....I love the oldies, but mostly the sixties.
Try the classics: Buddy Holly, Elvis, the Chordettes, Bobby Vinton
(If they aren't the fifties, they're early sixties). You could also find some Frank Sinatra albums.
As for the sixties, some good groups to look for: Beatles, Monkees, Simon and Garfunkel, Loving Spoonful, Mamas and the Papas, Peter, Paul, and Mary, and the Beach Boys.
