In the movie, prisoners in a german camp escape by building a plane in the attic of the prison, coating it with oatmeal? and flying away. Does anyone know this movie.

You may be thinking of 'The Bridmen', a TV movie from the 70's. The prisoners build a glider to escape the castle where they are being held.
