It's tough to comment much about it, since I'm not sure why he was fired. I've read plenty about sexual harassment, but that's all speculation and not really worth commenting on until more is known.
As for his work on BT, I was never all that impressed. Seems like a good enough guy, but some of the things he said were silly or just plain dumb. Still, he's a big upgrade over morons like Kruk, Phillips and Brantley, so he certainly wouldn't have been my first choice to go from that studio.
If he was fired for something relating to his performance, then that's just dumb. If it had to do with off-camera issues, then I'll withhold judgment until I know more.

In mu opinion, I think it's a shame that Reynolds was fired like that by ESPN, since he is one of the "staples" guys on the network (Stuart Scott, Dan Patrick and Peter Gammons were among the other guys that makes ESPN what it is today). Ironically enough, ESPN is the only network that is not running this story for PR (public relation) purpose. There are report from the New York Post that he got fired for sexual harrassment (even though Reynolds claimed that he just hug a female employee, also working at ESPN). I think ESPN jumped the gun on this situation because I thought this would be more of a suspension w/o pay by reading this. Sexual Harassment is a serious offense but there are some who can capitialized from this by exaggerating it. I'm not saying that the victim is a liar or anything but I'm not taking sides of this because everyone will eventually lose in this situation.
I think that Reynolds could bounce back at some point when this all goes away and could be courted from networks such as FOX Sports who needs baseball experts to fill in some air time, probably as a color commentator in baseball games.

I think ESPN had a knee jerk reaction and will be embarrassed by what they did before the issue is clarified and/or settled. Reynolds has been doing a great job for 11 years. AT LEAST he deserved the benefit of any doubt until he had his day in court.

I hope you gets a job somewhere because he is that good.I will say I found it that the media and the poltical correctness idiots at the media and espn have no problem feeling like they are in title to tell ever body about sexual harresment when a sports player has had a person say she has been harresment by a sports player and they have to tell you everthing but when it comes down to somebody that works for the media or espn they say very little even though that they are in the camera everday what hypocrites I will say

We don't know much about it except that he was fired for sexual harrasment, after he stated all he did was "hug" a woman (also ESPN employee). Until we know more, all you can base it on is heresay or what the media reports.

As popular as he is ESPN must have had a good reason to fire him. I'll miss him and Kruk on the show together.
