do you think that the human potential was intentionally surpressed at some point by some undefined 3rd party?
will humans ever gain (or regain) access to this unused capacity? if so, what effects will that have on the world/universe?
what do we have to do to use our brains more effectively? (i want to be able to create matter with my mind, godd*mmit)

that's interesting that the 10% thing is a myth that started in 1999, considering the fact that timothy leary started researching it in the 60s

actually, LIBERALS have be shown to use even less brain capacity than that.......more like 1-2%. you know, motor functions and all. they certainly don't use that grey mess for analytical thinking!

Scientists do no longer say that on account it quite is a city legend. All of our concepts is usable. That reported, there are cases while component to the concepts is unused; like if your are in finished silence, then the component to the concepts that analyzes speech to extract which ability does no longer have something to do. In finished darkness, your seen cortex is out of artwork. the comparable way which you're actually not in all probability making use of all your palms muscle once you're using a bicycle, and not making use of your leg muscle while typing on the workstation; component to your concepts is in use or no longer in use reckoning on the circumstances. even with the undeniable fact that this is all usable and related.

Good news -- the 10-12% thing isn't true. It's one of those "common knowledge" things, like the story about how you can boil a frog by raising the temperature slowly.

because our productive life is less than 20 years, the brain gets damage... if the average of years is more than 100 years, then we would be able to use the 50% of the brain

We use all of our brains. Having a big brain is expensive in terms of energy and nutrient requirements. If we didn't use all of it, we wouldn't have evolved it.
