totally dependent on size of people, their desired level of comfort, and their aim....you could have 3,4,5,6..... and if you want to get in the guinness book of records 17,18... but they would have to be chinese(no disrespect) they could squeeze into any position in large numbers

I read that the largest number of people that ever got into a mini was 18, this happened on July the 3rd, 2000 in Birmingham.

I managed to drive with six people in mine once. I would NOT recomend it.
