this guy i was talking to told me he was going out of town on his ex's b-day and that he wasn't going to be with her and he wasn't taking his cell phone so i called to tell him bye and his ex girlfriend answered it so i asked for him she gave him the phone and he was so cool and told me that he was with her on her birthday and it was like he didn't care if i did call when he was with her so i hung up and now he's avoiding my calls to see what really happened because i didn't want to assume anything if that wasn't the case was he wrong?

he's a jackass and a liar. if he's lying to you so he can hang out with his ex, he most likely has feelings for her still...so dump his *** and get someone hotter.

This is a guy you were "talking to" - is that code for a boyfriend ? When in all of this did he tell you he wanted to be with you ?
Ah well, none of that matters in the long run because what you have here is a guy who lied to you (told you he was going out of town but NOT to be with his ex and that he wouldn't take his cell phone so you would have no reason to call when in fact he went out of town to be with his ex and he took his cell phone along.
And now he is avoiding your calls.
Well, lucky you.
Stop calling him.
Let's go over this again: he supposedly stated he wanted to be with you but then he lied to you and was with he ex and he lied to you so that you wouldn't call him on his phone and now he is avoiding your calls.

You both were, you did not call to tell him bye you called to see if he took his cell phone keep it real with yourself. This is your boyfriend well honey hate to tell you that you need to check with him on that one. The males in this day and age are living their lives through video and rap music. DO NOT CALL THAT FOOL AGAIN. This is why men do what they do too women and we think they are being dogs when actually we hold the leash to these dogs. By you calling him after the lying and the disrespect (by letting the ex answer the phone, he knew you would call and he let you know by letting her answer the phone that you mean **** to him and this is all you have to look forward to with him is ****) move on but I know you wont we all have this need to be dogged and disrespected. Wow girl.... Sounds like you got played for the oldest trick in the book. The Jerks girl friend dumped him and he used you to get back with her. Yea he knew you would call so she answered and right there in front of her he made you look like a fool. In my opinion yes that was wrong unless you 2 are not exclusive with one another then its perfectly fine. but that would not fly if i was serious with the guy. does he spend time with you on your b-day and come-on this was a x of his. he probably still has puppy dog feelings for the girl so he follows her arround like white on rice?
with x's i feel that if i am not there or invited something is up especially if he didn't have his phone- then he really didn't want any disturbance just in case a little something.....something happens you know???
