To lose a little quicker--stay away from soda, junk food, desserts, bread, cereal, white potatoes, white rice, anything that comes prepared in a box, etc. Drink at least 10 8 oz glasses of water a day and keep away from alcohol. Limit salt. Also eat plenty of non starchy veggies and limit fruits. Eat lean meats, whole grains and lots of greens. Eat small portions but keep your blood sugars level by eating breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and if you still need a snack have one but don't eat within 2 hours of going to bed. It is a little extreme but you can drop weight quickly if you follow a very simple eating plan and exercise. Another trick is to walk for a least 10 minutes after every meal--helps speed up you metabolism. If you are looking for a magic pill or potion take some fiber pills and water 20 minutes before you eat. Also drinking at least 2 glasses of Wu long tea a day really helps you with your diet.

Watch your calorie intake, exercise (at least 30 minutes a day), and drink lots of water (8 glasses a day)

Take in less calories than you are burning - in other words, eat less and be more active! Walking is a great calorie burner, so is swimming. Good luck!
