Any one here from Nigeria Africa?

I live in Texas and a letter was sent to me from Nigeria 8 weeks ago. What is the problem with the mail there? How long should a letter from there take to get here? 8 weeks seems like to long, when post office here said it would take 3 to 4 weeks.

So sorry.
but like every other government body, the nigerian postal service is not run properly.
next time, tell your friend to DHL it.
that letteris probaly lost or has been temper'd with.
