At $10k, you could get a decent 8 yr old MBs such as MB C230. Just make sure it is maintained well and you're good to go. MBs should not give you any problem as long as you maintain it.

Find a low milage and good condition MB. MBs are known to run for 20 yrs and even at 500k kms even more....

Hope that helps

you may just...just...have the down payment only for a new one! look locally into small circulation papers for private sales on used M-B's. Know how big engine you want!? Have you considered a BMW that looks close in style? ur 10k may be half the price on a new Beamer,or full price of a used one in good condition. either way the BMW makes a good trade for a Mercedes!

you are better off to put 10 grand down on a new one then you will have a warranty that you will be glad to have because they do have their problems as all do dont pay 10 grand for a clunker
if we didnt have a warranty with our benz we would have spent 6800 on all the problems we have had and its a 2005AMG

The only MBZ that you will get for that money will be ten years old with high mileage. You can get lots of 190,220,240,300 series from 1982 to 1996 for that money. Just be prepared for the high cost of maintainance and repairs.
