Isn't this site supose to be entertaining? I enjoy it. But what about the people who just want to insult you for no apparent reason? I don't get why they waste their time?

I agree. I guess they don't realize that there is a human being reading the responses.
I just try to ignore them. But it's sad there are people like that in society.

besides being entertaining, i find this site educational as i learn about others' perspectives and opinions.
back to your question, i think some people need to find better ways of anger management
miserable people say and do miserable things..the old "misery loves company" applies here lol Smile and enjoy the good or the sincere ones on here and ignore the rest..thats what I do.

Yeah this site is a lot of fun! I enjoy just reading what other people say and what all the different opinions are. I think it is really sad that people use this oppurtunity to make insults and rude comments about others. But it will catch up with them eventually and they can get kicked off the site. Enjoy!

It depends on what you call entertaining. For me i prefer an answer from someone with a sense of humour, so when i ask a question if the reply is funny or slightly perverted at least i can have a good laugh and give top answer.
Not all answers should be taken so seriously, and people who report should themselves be reported for being so miserable...

Yep, I agree. I just joined yesterday and was insulted twice for no reason - my questions were fine (ie, not insulting).
But then I looked back at this person's question history and gleaned quite about about their sad little life and it all made sense! I won't name any names but she's fat, on anti-depressants, been barred from a place IRL for her behaviour, the list goes on.
No wonder the highlight of her life is to insult people.
Strangely, that made me feel a lot better :)

I KNOW!!! I'm not yelling but no kidding. I've posted stuff like this too. Lots like to bash how badly I spell. I do the spell check but it says everything is okay. Also people get mad when others talk about Celebs and THEY are the ones in the Celeb category.
I must be honest I've said a couple of mean things but they did deserve it. LOL

Because when we insult someone it gives us a chance to say what we Always wanted to say just not in person. I have a lot of problems with teenage pregnancy, money suckers on welfare and medicaid and other bullshit. With yahoo answers I get the opportunity to let them know what is up.

Yeah, I agree. And its not just entertaining, there is some good advice too.
I agree with the other person who says that these people are not happy with who they are, and _try_ to make themselves look better by putting other people down.
So, anyway, I guess we just deal with it huh?

I think because that's there way of entertainment and they got nothing better to do. I agree with you totally because some of them write insults and sacrastic comments as if you are dumb but they are the dumb ones for nothing being and acting mature.

It's so hard to find educated questions around here. I've come across people who doesn't put any effort in asking good questions. Some have been very offensive, but one should ignore it. I do believe people offend for attention, since they probably never get any attention from anyone.
