Because of greed. The worst administration is history is more worried about shoring up all of Iraq's oil fields for the U.S. than getting Osama Bin Laden. Bush constantly brings up 9/11 but it had nothing to do with Iraq and he's said so.
Many adults are not Americans; they are republicans or democrats. When Clinton was prez, the democrats blindly backed everything he did and the republicans do the same for Bush.
2 friends of mine are looking for Bin Laden (in the military) and they can't say much but it is hard. Also, we dont' want to mess with Saudi Arabia because the Bush's and many republicans are financially in bed with the Saudi's. Most terrorists are backed or from Saudi Arabia. People also forget that we used Iraq during the Iraq/Iran war and many of the weapons they have we sold to them.
We should take the troops out of Iraq and send them to Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia and tell anyone in the area that we're finding them and all that don't help are not with us and may be in danger of being attacked. We'd get Bin Laden in 2 seconds.
Money isnt' the root of all evil but the greed for it is. This will go down and one of the most corrupt administrations of all time.
When Bush and the other rich Senators and business men will send they're doofy kids to Iraq, then I'll back the war. It takes no courage to send other peoples kids to war to die. Cowards.

see in Afghanistan the children do not grow up with a lot of nice toys like we do here and in Europe so all they do as kids is practice hide and go seek... therefore... as an old man, Bin Laden would and should be preparing for the pro-circuit if we were not after him...

Because the miserable coward doesn't want to be found and be subjected to trial and punishment for his crimes against humanity, any more than Saddam Hussein wanted to be found. Finding him will probably require that someone turns him in, because there's a lot of mountains, caves and wasteland in Afghanistan.

Easy. . . They've stopped looking. They got what they wanted with invading Iraq, so what if the big guy is still free.
I mean, if we haven't stopped looking, it really says a lot about the most powerful government in the world, right??? So it couldn't possibly be that we just can't find him. . .

Because he's one of the hole-in-head gang silly. There was never even the pretense of actually trying to nab the guy. As soon as the dust settled we were off to Iraq to bring freedom to the middle east........ OMG.

My guess is that we have a good idea what country he's in and the government doesn't want to risk the political results of taking him out.
Ice4444, you sound like a raving liberal lunatic.

I'm not sure. Maybe we do know where he is, but we can't get him for political reasons. Maybe he is being sheltered by someone that the U.S. isn't ready to take on just yet.
