Pirates of the Caribbean curse of the Black Pearl about 2hours 20 minutes and Pirates of the Caribbean the dead man's chest about 2 hours 40 minutes Savy?

LOL

They are about Pirates. In the first CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow (played by Johny Depp) has to get his old ship back from his mutiness first mate Captain Barbosa (played by Geffory Rush). The ship is called the Black Pearl. Jack has 1 shoot, but he wont use it though, save on one man. His mutiness first mate. However there is a curse. Watch the movie, I don't want to give too much away. Savy?

In the second Jack Sparrow's time has run out, he has a debt to pay. A debt owed to Davy Jones. His soul. In the first the compass clearly doesn't point north, so where does it point? Not to the Isa de Muerta, but somewhere very interesting, watch to find out. They follow on from each other, I couldn't tell you much at all about the second in case of giving away things about the first.

You will love them films for certain. They are brillent. The first has the better plot but the soo funny!!!

POTC ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Wizard of Oz. Written in 1899, filmed in 1939 and it's timeless. A beautiful story, academy award winning music, the first movie in color (tied w/ Gone w/ the Wind), good for all generations. And, virtually everyone has seen it. I don't think any other movie has been watched (and sung) so often and by so many people.

(I'm guessing you've seen this one, so I don't need to explain the plot to you).

Depends on my mood, but Down Periscope with Kelsey Grammer (Frasier) is a lovely light hearted comedy, about him commanding a submarine with a bunch of weirdo's and trying to win a war game to get his own nuclear sub..... it usually cheers me up. The first Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark, brought back the thrill of Saturday Morning pictures, whilst Jurrasic Park cgi special effects with dinosaurs was amazing. The Fugitve, with Harrison Ford as the innocent doctor being pursued by Federal Marshall Tommy Lee Jones....hm, definitely, two of the hunkiest actors on screen together! Guess this is definitely one of my all time favourites!

Gladiator,

The great Roman General Maximus (Russell Crowe) has once again led the legions to victory on the battlefield. The war won, Maximus dreams of home, wanting only to return to his wife and son; however, the dying Emperor Marcus Aurelius (Richard Harris) has one more duty for the general - to assume the mantle of his power.

Jealous of Maximus' favor with the emperor, the heir to the throne, Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix), orders his execution - and that of his family. Barely escaping death, Maximus is forced into slavery and trained as a gladiator in the arena where his fame grows.

Now he has come to Rome, intent on avenging the murder of his wife and son by killing the new emperor; Commodus....

It's impossible to choose one movie and say that it's the best movie. There are too many good ones out there. One of the lbest movies though is The Shawshank Redemption about this guy who goes to jail for murdering his wife, though he swears he didn't do it. It's about his life in prison, the people he meets and the way his life affects those around him. He does great things while he is in prison. Awesome movie!

I think the best movie I have ever seen is "Gone With the Wind". I am from the south, and needless to say by my ID I am a fan. I am a history buff and I am interested in civil war era history.

Imitation of Life - great acting and great singing by Mahalia Jackson
About the life of two women raising two girls in the 50's and the difference in acceptance of their lot in life then and now. It had a great impact on my outlook then. Some people may not get it today. Glad things are different, but was worth watching over again.
