If so, how much? Enough to make snowmen? Sled? Do you have to dig your car out of 3 feet of snow some winter mornings?

I live in west Michigan now, and we usually get a dumping several times a winter and I've had it! My husband has an opportunity to be transfered in his company to the Seattle area. Wondering about the snow.

yes, but not enough to make a difference every year....1995-96 it snowed enough to make it worth my time and money to go get snow tires for my Datsun b-210 at Les Schwab that year...the following year we didn't have any snow at all....
a couple years later, i had a new (to me) car, and we had enough snow for some people (mostly those with 4x4's who think they're "bulletproof") to go sliding into the ditch...not me though, i took it easy and drove sensibly in my front-wheel drive Oldsmobile Achieva
i've never had the experience in seattle of having to dig the car out of the snow.

I rather be in Seattle than Salt Lake City, Utah. It still not as bad as Grand Rapids but I can t stand snow and not working, keeps me from moving to a nicer place like Seattle. Others may like the snow but I can t stand it anymore at age 44.

I live 2 hours north of Seattle and it snows here - although not often. I don't recall ever having to dig my car out. Some years enough to make snowmen other years no snow.
Right now we are in a heat wave with highs up to 38C [100.4 degrees Fahrenheit] with the humidex it is even hotter.

I live in Chicago we get 8 to 10 inches of snow. I'm trying to compare the weather with Seattle. In the summer we receive really bad thunder storm

It snows typically, within the city limits only once or twice a year. Totally unlike the part of Washington I live in, beautiful but rugged and wild.

We usually have one or two days of snow each winter. Maybe 2 inches. Everyone gets out their sleds and goes to town for the few hours before it starts melting.

It does snow. But not much. And definatly no 3 feet. Maybe enough to make a snowball, but thats about it.
