You have to be careful putting chemicals on the table because it could alter the finnish and look like crap. Especially nail polish remover and alcohol. I would try simple things first, like a product called goo gone.

Alcohol works sometimes. You take a good stiff shot of vodka. Then you take a bottle of rubbing alcohol, put it on a rag and wipe. Alcohol should not affect your finish but try it underneath first.
Then you take another shot of the vodka. By now you really don't care if the table has marks on it. Lol

rubbing alcohol will work for sure it works almost any where you want to remove permanent marker it works every time for me
