The UN position was clearly marked and in contact with Israeli army they asked repeatedly warned not to come to close.

But Israel with percision bombs killed - murdered UN observer ....so people to watch their actions are out of the way.

I´m not canadian, I´m argentinian, I´ve always lived there and I´ve never even been in Canada for one second, so probably I´m not supposed to say what you should do. However I´m concerned of what´s going on in the Middle East, I´m aware of recent events and I´ve been reading your last questions.
So, UN base was destroyed along with people in it (including four canadian soldiers). Although it was in a war zone the base should not be touched, even if Israel didn´t have "precision bombs". No excuses. War has laws too. It was a murder. But, why is "The Murder"? You say "Israel has committed a murder". Ok, now? What about the many, many civilians killed in Lebanon before? Is it enough to say, "well, it´s a war zone"? Because according to those war laws they shouldn´t be touched neither. Israel is not even in war with Lebanon, is in war with Hezbollah! This doesn´t mean the attack to the UN base is less important. But is it more important? Or is it that you think that this attack broke every limit, that they went to far, that there´s nothing else to contemplate, that there´s time for sanctions or actions? If so, is it because there are canadians involved or is it because UN is involded? If it´s because of the canadians, although canadians they were there representing UN, so a decision should take place by both parts, and if it´s all right for UN (everything goes on like if nothing happened) then it´s not a problem between Canada and Israel anymore, but between Canada and UN. If it´s because UN´s role was offended (again), wasn´t offended the very minute Israel decided to invade another country?
I think UN is very important, but unfortunately it´s not being taken seriously since long time ago and there is little or no response at all by the UN to those who do whatever they want, specially if "those" are USA or Israel (and may be other "important" countries). So my biggest concern is what should we do with UN.
I´m sorry if my english is poor, I hope you can understand what I wrote. I´m a pacific person, I don´t like violence, I´m not against USA or Israel, I don´t hate them, I´m not anti-semitic, I don´t think terrorism is good; I just want to live in peace and I think humanity has enough to deal with earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes and Jennifer Aniston´s movies (joke).

I know about it................but unfortunately it is part of war and it actually has a name...............it is call...... collateral damage.... i am sure the Israelies didn't do this on purpose but in war this things happen..........it is sad but it is reality........look at it this way.....when you go to watch a baseball game you don't go there thinking that i ball will hit you............yet it happens some times and the ball player never intended to hit you on purpose.. now I am not a Jew but i support Israel ---all they are doing is protecting their citizens........and defending its sovereignty.. another perfect example closer to home is when you have a child and you are an incompetent parent, who can't control him some times the state takes over the custody of that child to try to get him in line........i see it that way if the Lebanon government can't control its citizens then lets Israel show them how it is done....and trust me this people only understand a close fist kindness to them is weakness..
