I have spoken with Jews who were there. Who watched as loved ones died and friends were taken away never to be seen again. To deny this is to deny history.

History can be altered.

Even spoken to a Holocaust Denier?

When you asked what happened to the six million Jews who were exterminate, they come up with these excuses that there weren't that many Jews to begin with, faulty recording keeping, they ran away to where no one could ever find them, what excuse they can grap from their colon.

Lame, lame, lame!

And those who were in the "detention facilities" (isn't that a cute euphemism?), were treated better than the general population.

Those tales of ovens? Not true!

And what do you expect from the survivors? More lies to besmirch.....usually, at this point, I puke on the denier and deny that I puked on them. What evidence?

Ethan, I agree with you. And I'm not even going to go into how people taint history or scientific fact for their own goals. The Holocaust was a horrible and stunning event. We should be more aware when this begins to happen in our world.

But, I'm also assuming that you meant "how can anyone who has read history deny that the Holocaust happened?" The current question with the double negative means that history proves it didn't happen. And that, I don't agree with.

OK, maybe it happened but not to the extent the jews and Israelis are always trying to figure. For example, the prominent French thinker Roger Garaudy had written a book in which he proved by all possible historical evidence that the number of jews who were exterminated by Hitler was several hundred thousands and NOT several millions. Of course, there is a difference!

Besides, don't you think that what Israel is doing today in Gaza and in Lebanon is a new holocaust?

People have a tendency to trivialise things that did not actually affect them. Ignorance is the scourge of the world. In order that nothing like that ever happens again we need to have it taught in history classes in schools.
The holocaust was & is a documented fact. For people like answerer PROUD COLLEG to deny it only goes to prove that ignorance is alive & well & living on this site.

The Holocaust is undeniable. Ironically the "Great French" thinker (Roger Garaudy) quoted in these answers denies the German occupation of France ever happened. He says the German troops in France during WWII were on vacation.

Did you hear about the new French Tank? It has 32 reverse gears and two forward gears (in case they are attacked from behind).

i do no longer trust the holocaust befell how that is declared to have take position in the present day (6 million jews and six million non-jews). each and every of the time the holocaust tale alterations. All clinical and historic data factors to easily a pair hundred thousand died at maximum, and maximum of those were from ailments and starvation. in fact, maximum knowledgeable human beings agree. I question the reliable holocaust tale clone of each and every man or woman might want to. It would not make you anti-Jewish or something. We might want to undergo in options that no longer purely Jews died yet each and every man or woman that disagreed with the Nazis. i do no longer favor to disclaim the holocaust no longer purely because it befell yet because my ancestors were contained in the most important holocaust of all cases.

The holocaust was a series of events not just one thing. One event was were germany killed any german that wasn't "perfect". The deadliest event that was against jews wasn't committed by germans at all.

History is written by the victor.

Them mounting death toll ( 2 million , in my lifetime), and the exclusion of Catholics, Communists, Gypsies, cripples and the mentally ill who were supposedly killed also causes a credibility gap.
