no its not deadly i know what youre talking about, but i can't remeber its name..its similar to a collar lizard. Leave it alone, they're usally pretty nice, but every now and then they get upset. Look on the internet and put in lizard with purple tail first, if you don't get anywhere with that then look for the other components also, purple tail with white freckles face, ect.

Hm....Well about the pictures you could go on google or yahoo or any search engine website. But about the lizard, i don't think I've ever heard of one looking like that. You might want to take it to a professional who knows alot about reptiles and in case if it is poisonous, try not to touch it with bare hands or let it bite you or something. Keep it in a jar with holes in it or something.

There are only 2 species of venomous lizards in the the world. One is the Gila Monster and the other is the Beaded Lizard.

Gila monsters are found in the deserts of the SW United States and NW Mexico. Here is a picture of one. http://www.indyzoo.com/image_gallery/Gila-monster.jpg

The beaded lizard or Mexican beaded lizard (Heloderma horridum) is found in Mexico and the southern United States
Here is a picture of them http://www.whozoo.org/ZooPax/MexBeadedScales.jpg
