A singer whose voice is the epitome of rock. What is so special about his voice? What does his voice make you want to do?

Is there another singer that comes even close?

Till from the German band Rammstein!

He has a very unique voice--it's an unusually low voice for much of his songs-- and Till and the other members of Rammstein are competent enough to sing in several languages: they typically sing in German, but they also have some songs in Spanish and English.

His voice is very unique; you can't miss it! At first his voice was the reason I hated Rammstein's music, but every time I heard their songs I would listen to them out of curiosity, and finally I listened to them enough and became accustomed to their style so much that I really like them! And I don't even know why because their music is certainly not my typical music or style. Even if you don't understand German, the musicality and variety should be enough to interest you...and that voice! Rammstein is known for having unique music: it's very German sounding and was not influenced by the contemporary American style of rock music.

Their music makes me want to just sit and listen to more of their music! There is not another singer that even resembles Rammstein's music or Till's voice. However, if you are uninterested in songs in the German language, I would recommend "Time is Running Out" by Muse, "Buck Rogers" by Feeder, and "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" by A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. They have unique voices...especially the singer in the last selection. If you understand French, I'd recommend Sir Alice (which isn't my style really either...it's just fascinating!) and Indochine songs. Indochine is the very quintessence of wonderful French music with a great lead singer! He has such unique vocal quality and uses some unusual vocal manipulations which really make the language sound more French...if that makes sense...

Overall though, the most distinct voice, one that is the very epitome of rock, would be that of Till from Rammstein. (Also, some of Rammstein's lyrics are inappropriate, but they also have some really nice songs too...only a few are vulgar; I understand German well, but their music is just so good whether it's vulgar or not!)

Davey Havok of AFI. he has a totally unique voice. at some points his voice gets so high he almost sounds like he is female. his voice has changed in transition from the bands last album to the new one, Decemberunderground because of his throat troubles, but the music is still as good as it always has been.his voice makes me want to start a band and rock out for the rest of my life. no other singer can come close. he is amazing.

Freddie Mercury is possibly the greatest vocalist in rock...I mean the way he sings the songs are amazing...Bohemian Rhapsody and Somebody To Love are some of his best performances to me.
