Avon sells a special cream for this purpose. I think other companies have similar products. Also, after bathing, use a pumice stone, a loofah, or a product with some "grit" in it to "polish" your feet. This will gently remove the dead skin. Then apply the cream or lotion of your choice. Apply the cream or lotion again at bedtime, and wear cotton socks (they sell little booties just for this use in drug stores) to bed. This intensifies the softening. Keep this routine up faithfully, and your feet will become soft and stay that way, even if you do wear flip flops and sandals.

To get started use a pumice stone or one of those cheese grater looking things to get the bulk dry skin off (this may take some time)
Then use a good moisturizer lotion every day after a shower. Do this and after only a few days your feet will be soft and crack free. You'll be amazed at the results

I have the same problem and this is what I do.
I have a pumice stone, it can be bought at any cosmetics display.
Towards the end of my bath, I scrub my heels with it. Then I apply a good foot lotion to my feet, putting it on a little thick at the heels.
Every now and then, i will slather my heels with lotion, put on some white socks and sleep in them.
It keeps my heels very soft and smooth.

pedicure is the best way, but if you can't afford that, get your own foot scrapper. Scrap daily - in the shower is best. Your feet must be wet and soft.
Then after wards cream up. there are many good foot creams out there.
Foot care has to be a daily thing.
You could also try Vaseline on your feet and then wrap your feet in plastic bags. let it soak in.

I soak them in hot water, pumice stone them,(sally beauty supply has an artifical one that works really well). Then I use eucerin and put socks on overnight. Trust me in the morning they will be super soft. To maintain them I have a parafin bath you dip it in the wax then put a plastic bag over them for about 20 minutes every other week

Exfoliate your feet daily with a foot scrub, use a foot paddle to scrub your feet after a bath or shower and use a good foot cream at night time and apply socks to seal in the moisture.

Soak them, exfoliate the cracked parts with a foot file or pumice stone, put Vaseline on them & cover them with socks before going to bed.

I have the same problem and nothing was working but pedicures but they got to be to much money. Then I found Dr. scholls for her it works great I use it twice a day but then I forget to use it and when the cracking comes back just start using again and it works fast.

I have really dry, cracked & calloused feet. This is what works for me: soaking my feet for a few minutes in warm water with a bit of Olive oil, then dry them off, lufa any calloused areas, then I rub them with "Shea it Isn't So" lotion (Bath & Body Works). Then I put my feet in socks. Also, I will lather them in vaseline (don't laugh, it works) before bedtime, put shower caps on my feet, then put socks on over that. In the morning, your feet will be very moisturized.
Good luck!
