The kid has less than a 50% chance of living. If the child does live, he/she has a 85% chance of being severely retarded.

NO!!!!!!! 24 weeks is pushing it with usually serious complications.....Baby has to weigh at least 500 grams(few cases under) 19 weeker will usually come out with not an incling of a heart beat....definitly not survivable.

I believe if the baby is less than 25 weeks old, it cannot survive out the womb. However, medicine is getting better and better all the time.
