What would you give for him?

Do you think he will stay with a losing team in Seattle, or is New York calling?

I think any sane fan would take Ichiro if given the opportunity. He doesn't have much in the way of power and doesn't draw as many walks as I'd like, but he still gets on base and scores runs. His defense in right would also be an upgrade for most teams.

"if he went to the Yankees, he might go down as one of the ten best hitters of all time" NOW THAT'S FUNNY!!...I guess if Ichiro moved to NY, there's something in the water?...Maybe, if Ichiro hangs around the monuments a little might rub off?...LOL...

Ichiro's OPS of 834 ranks number 60 JUST among outfielders this season!! ...And for some reason? his RF(range factor) has went from 2.46 and 2.53 the past two seasons to 2.14 this year...that 2.14 ranks 151st among OF....An RF of 2.4 or 2.5 is very good for a Right fielder, 2.14 is only a little above average for a corner OF...

Would anyone believe that A-Rod has more career stolen bases than Ichiro and A-Rod's success rate is better than Ichiro's?

Ichiro has 58HR for his career, and his career SLG is 441

There are enough misperceptions in BB lets not add to them..Ichiro is a very good all around player and would fill a niche with any team he played for...BUT, one of the greats ever? I would run out of ink before I got to Ichiro if I started listing all of the players in Baseball history better than him...

Yes - I think Ichiro will stay with the Mariners...Making themselves attractive to Japan's star players is a great move by Seattle...

I'd take Ichiro (Cleveland Indians fan speeking)

I'd give up my left nut...jk....I'd give up Ronnie Belliard...and maybe a prospect or something.

I think he'll stay with Seattle.

I think he would stay because (im just using basket as a example) there r a lot of teams that have one star player. Take the calvilers they have Lebron and the warrors with only gilbert areanas

i would trade a-rod for ichiro...in a strait up trade...this guy every year is close to breaking the hitting record for most hits every year...best lead off hitter in the game...plus i think that if he wanted to hit more home runs and sacrifice his average a bit he would get over 30 hrs a year easy....

I would want him....he's a solid defender and a speed deamon and makes a great lead-off guy....and I think he'll stay w/Seattle because if he went to NY he won't have the leadoff spot with Damon there for the Yankees and Reyes there for the Mets.....Soo idk which NY team you were saying but neither would be a good fit for him.....
