Take ibuprofin, a hot shower or bath and veg out in sweats by the TV. If you're having severe cramping, to the point where it dehabilitates you or disrupts your daily life, be sure to make an appointment with your doctor as this can be a symptom of serious health issues.

Supplements helped me. I take a multi-vitamin, b-complex, flaxseed oil. I exercise. I get a massage once a month to rid my system of toxins. Stay busy, make time for youself, etc.
