You know I've always wondered why a man educated at Yale, cannot speak his own language correctly. And furthermore I wonder why the people who voted for him didn't notice! I am waiting for a disclaimer from Yale saying they were only fooling he didn't even go there but that never happens either. Is it because he has the IQ of a 3rd grade graduate?? No I take that back because I just insulted everyone who went to the third grade--sorry. There is no excuse for an educated man to speak the way he does. I know people with less education that speak a lot better then he does. Lord help us all, this is what the world sees. I'm embarrassed.

Having read many of your questions, they are for the most part redundant. However, having said that, President Bush is a plain spoken person, he is not a clown, and he is far from stupid. Just for the sake of comparison, look at John Kerry and Al Gore, two very articulate men, whom are both boring as hell. They could both talk for ever and say absolutely nothing. I prefer President Bush over both, and you should strive to come up with something new to ask, rather than rehashing tired old ravings of your liberal friends.

OMG. what the heck is your problem? What do you think you know the language so perfectly! English is a very difficult language to learn. Maybe the fact that he is from Texas and has an accent has something to do with it, but man, our generation talks like were all from the getto. U HAV ISSUES If you're going to make fun of our president.

Some people are good speakers and some are not.....just like some are good spellers and some are not (goodness knows we see THAT every day here at Yahoo Answers!) However, being a good speaker or speller does not necessarily go "hand in hand" with being intelligent. Many people that do not speak well in front of a crowd excel at writing and research.

He speaks enough English to win two presidential elections. Kerry did not speak English this well. I'd rather win two elections than satisfy your English requirements.

You can call him an idiot, but that's, "Mr. President the idiot," to you.

well it cant be easy reading a speech someone else wrote with a certain attitude as if you know it front and back. being the DECIDER must also take a toll on his mental capacities. we all know how hard it is to DECIDE to a bill. first you lift your hand up, grasp a pen.....

In his own words:
"I'm not a big reader."
Reading does more to prepare a child ready for speaking in public than anything else.
I just don't think our President did much reading in his childhood days.
For shame Barbara...for shame!
