I would suggest taking a bus instead of a cab, because it will be more than 60$ for a cab.

i was in iran last summer and for about 200 miles was $50 but you can fly the same distance for about $20.

The middle east is not a country in itself, where exactly do you mean? egypt? jordan? lebanon? etc etc. With your ignorance they will spot you a mile off and rip you off nicely!
