Someone already said it but GTA: San Andreas
-There is so much to do in the game
-It's one of the few games with a varied soundtrack
-Very smart comedy even if it was a little crude
-Despite the over the top setting the environment acctually manages to feel real because of Rockstars excellent ability to capture the minute details
-Even with all of the GTA clones none have managed to top the original except for the GTA series itself (if that makes sense)
-One of the few games that puts gameplay before graphics

i would say my all time favorite video game is g.t.a. vice city
i loved the show miami vice and too see so much of that on the video game was awes.!!
plus the cheesy 80's music didn't hurt too...not to mention all the controversy surrounding the game.

Its hard to decide. I love most of the resident evil games. They are gory and cool. I also love the Sims 2. Its a very addicting game.
