Depends on what kind of movies you are in to. If you're into comedies, I just watched "Fun with Dick and Jane" a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty good. If you're into sick twisted comedies I would suggest "Jay and Silent Bob Stikes Back."
Horror and suspense--try "Saw," "The Ring" and "The Ring Two," and "What Lies Beneath." If you have kids but want something for adults, too, there are lots of great flicks--"Shrek" and "Shrek 2," "Cars," "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2" are just a few of them.

Well if it a recent release then I would have to say Kiss Kiss Bang Bang has been the most entertaining movie I have seen in awhile

Depends on what you like and what you're morals are.
If you like war movies and don't mind gore - Saving Private Ryan
If you like movies with strange twisting plots - Fight Club
If you like drama and don't mind swearing and violence - American History X or Crash
If you like thrillers and don't mind gore - Saw or Saw II
If you like comedies and don't mind swearing - Office Space
If you like comedies and do mind swearing - Napoleon Dynamite
If you like cult classics - The Warriors
If you like action movies and dont' mind violece and swearing - Sin City
If you like action/comedies but don't like swearing - Pirates of the Caribbean
There's so many more. Like I said it all depens on what you like. Hopefully you'll take a look at some of those suggestions.
