To defeat the hind, you need to buy a mirror in Veldarah and get some beeswax in the Northern Isle. Before you can get the beeswax, though, you'll need to buy a smokebomb in Teacup Town. Then go to the Memory Caves and in one of those paths, you'll see a beehive. You'll need the smokebomb on the beehive which will then allow you to get the beeswax. Then you won't need to hit the hind. Just use the beeswax and mirror.
