that is, i have 3 laptops and a desktop that are wireless, seems like I always have to disconnect wireless router and cable modem from power source in order for all pcs to get internet. Or refresh connection, is there an easier way to always have connections with out unplugging and plugging modem/router?

Are you doing any 'internet connection sharing'? Or does your router give each of your PCs an IP address via DHCP? Hopefully, you're using DHCP because ICS is flaky at best and might be causing your problem.

Other thing it may be is a bad router.....I had to restart mine a few times per week recently so I upgraded to the new Pre-N standard (faster than G) and it's been fine since.

Try updating the firmware on the router
