you have a little thing we like to call ad-ware.

Download the program called "Ad-Aware SE Personal" from here:
http://www.lavasoft.com

- It is one of the best programs to get rid of any adware, spyware, etc.

download and run Spybot Search and Destroy. It will remove spyware and adware that is likely causing the popups. And it is free!!!

do a virus/adware/spyware scan & then get a pop-up blocker. yahoo has a pop-up blocker I believe.
