no you can only fold it in half once. when you fold it a second time you are folding it into quarters.

No you cannot. Whether you use a large piece of paper or a small one, you cannot fold it more than 7 times.

You shouldn't be able to, as I told my friend. To try it he folded various paper items in half and tried and failed. Suddenly, he spied a napkin, and voiding all the paper folding laws I knew, folded it nine times in half. It might have been because napkins are already folded twice.
