I am afraid we are heading into uncharted territory in our world as we know it. The very infrastructure of not only our nation, but that of all nations,is as volatile as any in the history of our planet. The leaders of all governments must act to dissuade the extinquishing of our world.I am scared of what I see and hear coming from N.Korea,Iraq, and the recent bloodshed in the Middle East between Lebanon and Israel. I fear we are on the cusp of WW111,and with that, the total annihilation of our existence.Does anyone share this gloomy forecast,or am I in the wrong?I look forward to your thoughts and ideas on this troubling situation.

Giant world events like an Armageddon, as it is interpreted would not make the front page of the newspapers because there would be no newspapers printed, unless they have an office in heaven.
No, my response is that human time goes fast, but time for mountains and even redwood trees goes real slow. Most of the worst and best things that happens to earth and her creatures happen on mountain or redwood time.
If what you call Armageddon actually happens it will be stretched out for such a long period of time that humans, might not even see it, as a single event, in and of itself.
The Armageddon event might be conceived as say, something called, like, Earth Warming. This would be a process that causes the earth to warm up to a temperature that melts the ice caps at the poles. The result of which is the drowning of many major cities in the world that are built close to the water level.
So, in this future, you could get a flyover of the what was San Francisco, Santa Crus, San Mateo, Richmond and Oakland California and so on along with San Jose and you could see the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge with the road covered in water and the two towers sticking up like the old piers of yesterday.
It would all take time, and those born at the beginning of Armageddon would not see the end.

You are reading too many of the Left Behind series. Firstly, the Bible does not mention a rapture. That was touted by an English preacher in the 1800s, Darbey was his last name. Secondly, Armageddon will not occur until after the Anti-Christ (instead of Christ) comes on the scene. He is not here yet because we have not reached a false peace. only Christ can bring true peace and rhetoric that the UN and liberals keep spitting out is not peace.

I've always hated how America has to stick her nose in everyone's business. I wish we would worry about ourselves and only go to war on the defense. As far as Armageddon goes, I don't know about a WWIII, but I don't think the end of the world is upon us. It doesn't look good in the middle east, but does it ever? I would keep an eye on things, but I wouldn't worry to much.

People say this crap every five years. The world is not coming to an end. Everyone will calm down just as soon as we can get someone with a brain in the white house.

I believe you are right. As a Christian, however, this does no scare me for myself, it scares me for those who do not believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. (I know I'll get mocked for saying that...I'm getting prepared.) But, the worst is yet to come......there WILL be a peaceful time....but it will be FALSE peace and it will only last about 3 years. After that.....the world will fall apart like it never has before. And yes.....is seems it is all "right around the corner".

Revelations likely,

Last years storms and natural events combined with 9-11 and war and 3rd world powers getting nukes is an indicator that we will be judged soon.

Fear not there is 1,000 years of peace.

Do you read the Bible? The "end-times" are not necessarily the end of our existence. Perhaps it we get real nasty and attempt to kill one another our so-call civilization will collapse and we'll have to start over from stone-age conditions. Was there a pre-stone-age? As for George Bush creating man-kind.....get over it. He may be good, but not that good.
