My choices would be: Jermaine Dye, Albert Pujols, Manny Ramirez, Alfonso Soriano, or Alex Rodriguez. Im probably missing a lot, that is just a few.

Pujols is the best player in the league right now...
Dye isn't consistent enough (I know he's been hurt, but still)
Manny is close, in fact Pujols rakes like a young Manny...
Soriano isn't quite strong enough as an all around hitter...
A-Rod is always tough, but this year he's a notch below...
Papi and Thome belong in the discussion...so does Jeter...

The Yankees are SO much better than the stupid *** White Sox, enjoy sitting home this year and watching other teams in the playoffs because you crybabies wont be there.Dye no way, Manny is Awesome, A-Rod will get better like he used to be, their is hope, Pujols is alright, Soriano is good.

You're right... the Yankees suck. I'm watching the Tigers spank the Indians now, and the lowly White Sox are STILL LOSING to the Twins. Here comes an 8 1/2 game lead in the AL Central.
