THIS IS EASY SINCE ALL OF THEM ARE EQUAL SIGNS, THEREFORE

A/48=18/72
A=12

AND 15/B=18/72
B=60

18/72=C/96
C=24

AND 18/72=21/D
D=84

18/72
Start by reducing the fraction 18/72. Divide top and bottom by 18 to get 1/4

?/96
Next, divide 4 into 96 to get 24 and that is the numerator 24/96

21/?
Use 1/4 again, 1/4 = 21/?, multiply 21 and 4 to get 84. 21/84

?/48+15/?= 1/4
Assume the denominator is the same 48

(?+15)/48 = 1/4
Divide 48 by 4 = 12 and subtract 15 = -3

final result:

-3/48 + 15/48 = 18/72 = 24/96 = 21/84

12/48 15/60 18/72 24/96 21/84

the key is the 18/72...18 is 1/4 of 72.. so applying that ratio, you can figure out the rest.

12 60 24 84 the 18/72=1/4=.25 then you cross multiply

do you know how to work w/ proportions and how to cross multiply? i'll do the first one and you can do the rest...

if ?/48 = 18/72

treat ? as a unknown variable...so rewriting it (replacing ? w/ letter x)

x/48 = 18/72

cross multiply:

72x = 18(48)

72x = 864

divide both sides by 72...

x = 12

so the first ratio is 12/48

hope that helps!...good luck w/ the rest!!
