I have a 1993 firebird. I swapped the inst cluster from a 115 to a 155 mph, the tach doesn't work?

Need assistance in fixing this problem. The cluster came from a 1994 trans-am. Everything else works but the tach. I tried removing the little black box located near the ignition coil, (Tach filter), and it still didn't work.

if it worked before the plug is diffrent try tracing the wires and putting in a jumper
