It is so confusing. If I say I'm Redpublican then I will lose a lot of the black vote. If I say I'm a smurf (blue stater) then I miss out on the support that my fellow Redpublicans can give me.

The application does not have a check box for indipendent etc.

My thought is to Say I'm a demo then waffle. Redpublicans will embrace me. And Blues will always forgive that kind of action.

If I do it close to the election the blacks will not even know I switched.

Go big Red Go

So do you want to serve the public whom you love or get elected?
If all you want is to get elected, stay home. There are enough shallow, devious politicians already.
If you stand for something, stand there. Let the chips fall. Keep working and being in the public eye-all good.)
If you are passionate, honest, charismatic, dedicated to your country, you could be a STATESMAN. We need leaders, not more weasels. Be a concensus-builder-be a purple.
My advice: READ a lot! Take speech class, take government classes, take Dale Carnegie courses, spell-check everything. Hang on to your principles.
If you don't have any, sell ice cubes to Inuits.

2*(20+1)+1=

Best bet is to be true to yourself. That way, you won't get caught in any lies or flip-flops or have to say "I can't remember", (unless you are like me and CAN'T remember).
