So.... they don't have air conditioning in London? Here sometimes we go shopping just to get out of the heat.

What they dont have "Air conditioning" in England? I live in one of the "Hottest" towns, in America...In the desert where the temperatures, can get as high as 110 degrees, here!!! But, we have Air-Conditioning, everywhere !!!! In our stores, our buses, our apts, homes, cars, you name it !!! We have it, everywhere !! Thats really "Bazarre" that they dont have it, anywhere, it sounds. And, maybe, everyone is go concerned about the winters more, because, the "Cold", is more uncomfortable, for some people, than, sweating things out in the "Summers" you know what I mean.. They just "Deal with it" the summers... Maybe, you should go "Door-To-Door" and take a "Survey", asking people, about, what they'd think, about, doing something about these conditions, making them more "Comfortable" for everyone.....Then, make a list of how, you & they all would go about helping the problem......Then, take it too, "City Hall" or wherever, the English, go to settle, or suggest changes....Good-Luck, to you, and all the English !! I sympathize, with all of you........

It is not economically feasible to install air conditioning for a once a summer heat wave that lasts 2 weeks.
