The best way to relieve anxiety starts with B vitamins. A 50 milligram complex known generically as B-50 taken 1-2/day will help provide your body with what it needs to have proper brain chemistry. Even though the B Complex can have a noticable effect within an hour, I also use an amino acid known as Gaba for anxiety relief. 500mg 1-3 times/day will calm the mind but still allow you to work or play as you would like.
Use the B complex daily and the Gaba as needed. Amazing results without sideeffects.
Good Luck.

Hypericum (St John's Wort) is commonly used as a treatment for depression and anxiety disorders. Some people also find that Bach flower remedies, sold as tinctures in most chemists and health food shops, do a good job in reducing anxiety.

Kava, you can buy it in tea form or loose root .
Boil water and poor gently over the tea bag (or french press) and let steep and sip. or you can just chew on it, don't swallow though.
It helps to sooth stomach aches, and is a natural anti anxiety.
also Clery sage esstinal oil, on your pressure points. like the pulse on your rest and behind your ears, is also an anti anxiety help.
oils like Lavender and chamomile, too and valarien root (though you can buy it ina tinture form)
exersise and artistic outlets, are amazing helps too. Get a
notebook and just write or draw or scribble.
I also dont recommend herb (marijuna) it can cause your anxiety to worsen.
Breathing is key... Dont forget to breathe.
hope to help! Blessings to you.

I took valerian when I had severe anxiety a few years ago. I didn't want to take any drugs so my doctor got a herborist prepare it in a concentrated solution. I took one spoonful in a glass of water every evening, it made me feel relaxed and there was no addiction.

Quiet Life tablets, and Calms are both based on valerian and skullcap. Valerian is the original herb now marketed as Valium. The tablets aren't as strong and don't make you dopey.
Cannabis is not recommended for anxiety as it can make you paranoid.
