The on line I.Q tests are not any good. If you pay attention at the end of the test they want you to go to a website to sell you something. Eveyone I know has gotten between a 115 and 130.
I'm sure your a real bright person, but don't get too excited about this.
100 is an average I.Q. Theres a BIG difference between 113 and 126. There can't be that much difference between the two and have either be right. They just are not accurate.

the average for any age is 70. The score fromt he exam divided by your age is the IQ, and anything above 70 is good. Geniuses tend to be 120+, but having said that, IQ tests are a load of tosh.
The IQ tests all depend on a persons level of education, social background, language, culture and race. For example, an IQ test in the US which asked about the relationship between George Washington and an apple, would be most likely answered incorrectly in Britain or any other country. However, show a picture of a bowling alley, many in the West would recognise it, but someone in Saudi Arabia would not have a clue. Does not mean they are not as smart as you of course.

it depends on the test. Each different test has different numbers.
For example, a 126 score on a Wechsler-Belleview test (done with a psychologist), is a high score well above average (which is 95-105). I(Mensa would require about 132 for eligibility.) But I do not know what test you wrote.
Also, I.Q. test scores can be influenced by practicing certain mental functions. For example, learning English vocabulary will raise your score in all kinds of I.Q. & other aptitude tests. Miller Analogies can be enhanced by pracice. There are books that teach and train those mental functions. A book and daily practice over a significant period of time can raise your score up to 20 poiints & more. Is that cheating? no. By the time you are finished studying you are smarter, and think more incisively. Also, I.Q. doese not measure all mental properties that are equally valuable, such as creativity, manual dextereity, reading people, communication skills, etc., etc.
Generally, 114 is a good score on most tests, and 126 is a superior score.
Hope that helps answer your question.
Dan.

Well, the standard deviation of the most commonly used IQ test (the WAIS) is 15 points.
100 is the "average" IQ score for adults (14 counts as an adult on most tests).
Your score of 113 is nearly 1 standard deviation higher than the mean, which suggests that you did as well or better than about 68% of the popluation.
Your score of 126 is approaching 2 standard deviations higher than the mean, which suggests you did as well or better than about 95% of the population.
Now... as to the validity of these on-line IQ tests... well... THAT is another question entirely!

There is some wrong info on here...if your IQ is 113, and on most tests, 115-116 is 1 standard deviation above the mean of 100, and if you use 115 as a rough estimate of your score, you are outscoring 34%+50% = 84% of the population, not 68%. Those who said that were thinking of the percent of folks WITHIN 1 SD of the mean, including above and below the mean.
At 115, you would have outscored 34% above people who are ABOVE the average of 100, let alone everyone below it.

It is likely that the two tests were using a different method, and if they used the same, than you were either tired or distracted or in other ways unconcentrated in one of them.
In order to obtain the correct and consistent result, it is advisable to take the test again under controlled condition and supervision of a professional.
