There are other I like too but these are the ones that come to mind right away. And you're right, it's kind of a lost art but I think it's because jazz and big band isn't as big as it used to be.

Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass is my all time favorite and it is not a lost art yet, just no one promoting brass instrumentals anymore
