Should I use a PC or MAC?

In full honesty, a lot of people preffer MAC due to their extreme ability to be user-friendly. But for the widest array of options and abilities, I suggest you get a PC as they often times support software that MACs don't. Theres a world of Video Editing software out there made exclusively for Microsoft systems and feature everything from pixel editing to green-screening. You just need to find what you're comfortable with and use it.
And while some might believe that the graphics interface on a MAC are better, remind yourself of this: MACs are all softwelded together - you cannot update your video card when a better one hits the market. You cannot update many things. So unless you want to buy a new MAC every year, I suggest a PC.

Video Editing is a processor intensive task. Mac's are dual cores but still you can get an AMD based PC for video editing. IF specifically your software works on MAC then you can consider, but still if you have options, then PC is a better alternative as you have tons of software that can be used only on a PC as well as you can really get the power fo an super power AMD processor like AMD Athlon 4400+ and above. Hope this helps.
