House had arterial blockage in his leg which killed part of his muscle tissue. This causes him almost constant pain which he tries to manage with painkillers.

I do watch that show it is pretty good. But I like er a little bit better than house because er makes more sense. It is also a continuing story.

It was an infarction, a blood clot in his leg, which led to muscle death because the doctors didn't find it right away. I'm sure the correct answer has already been posted before me though :)

He hurt it in some sort of accident which gave him some sort of blockage. They never really go into it but the season finale started to.

I'm not sure, but it had something to do with his ex girlfriend, the lawyer.
From wikipedia, it was an infarction that was misdiagnosed by his docs. And muscle deterioration...

He got sick, with sum infection. and his ex had 2 decided if they shud cut it off or leave it. so she decided to leave it and he blames her for all the pain hes going through with it.
